A day of retracement
Posted by Cire2222 on May 5, 2008
Today was retracement action after some big moves in many markets. We saw the stock market pullback after a solid run, gold popped after it’ big sell off and the Dollar gave a little back today. No significant technical moves were made and the trend in those markets remains the same. I will sit on the sidelines waiting for a signal, I don’t want to force any moves right now.

Solid day trading today, not too much on a swing basis, FOREX markers could get wild soon. Not expecting much tomorrow but next week should be wild!
Tuesday night 4/8/08

Not much changed today for our swing outlook so I will keep it Simple
S&P futures - I still think we move down a bit more before any attempt at a breakout move
Gold- Todays short in gold worked out well we were able to cover near the lows. As i posted in the forum tonight we are trading in the 920’s again and I think it is another good short entry for gold
EUR/USD- Still in wedge with a bearish bias.
USD/CHF- Still in wedge with bullish bias
USD/CAD- Least favorite of the forex trades is this pair short, has been too choppy
Stocks: I have posted the charts for many stock charts in the forum, INTC , CVX and BIDU were shorts mentioned yesterday, X is a new short that I like here as i think it may be over done short term. These should all have fairly tight stops.
Monday night review
Posted by Cire2222 on Apr 7, 2008
My internet is acting up tonight so Ill need to do a quick text post. We have been flat for the past few trading sessions in the market, no real direction. As for now I still have bullish bias but I think this market is due to give up some ground in the next day or two so waiting on the sidelines for a better clue as to where the market is headed is the best bet.
Some stocks we had been watching are performing well, GOOG finally filled the gap we had our first target set at take some profits on that trade if you have not already. AAPL is much past our target and still performing well, if you remained long on AAPL congrats to you! the QQQQ’s hit target and AMZN is doing just fine, at this time any of those stocks that you still have a long position in should have trailing stop loss orders to protect gains.
In forex USD/CAD has now turned bearish. I Think the EUR/USD is a short here with stops at the prior highs. A new pair I like here is the USD/CHF pair to the long side, we have formed a nice little wedge down here and I feel it has much potential to the upside if the dollar can perk up. Keep you eye on those pairs and Charts will follow.
As for gold I am getting mixed signals but I remain bearish until we get in the 940’s again, I posted a short trade in the gold futures thread in our forum.
Employment Numbers
Posted by Cire2222 on Apr 3, 2008
another choppy day to end flat. Expect much more action tomorrow as we will get the employment numbers before the opening bell. Going into the numbers The only trade I would feel comfortable holding is a gold and EUR/USD short. The Range projection numbers will not be posted tonight as they tend to not hold up well on a big news day which I expect tomorrow.
Youtube uploading down again
Posted by Cire2222 on Apr 2, 2008
Youtube’s uploading is not available again tonight and im not sure when it will go back up, I did a video and will post it ASAP. For now Ill give you a quick run down. S&P is sitting right near resistance, if we gap down on the futures below 1365 then go with it the gap and short, If we open up flat you can take a long in an attempt to catch a breakout move past that trendline. Gold Had a little bounce today, I think if we get a move up tomorrow in the 915-920 area i would see it as a decent short entry. I think EUR/USD has topped for now, Any shorts taken here should have stops at the highs. USD/CAD is still range bound and I still think it is a long for now.
Tuesday blastoff!!!

Quick video review. All the markets we have been talking about have finally followed through with great moves. S&P’s finally took off like a rocket,USD/CAD performing well, EUR/USD seems to have topped and gold has tanked as predicted. So all in all what a great day for TB.com followers. Now you manage the trades your still in or sit on the side waiting for new ones. Hope you all made some $$$$$ today!!!!!!!!!!
Monday night recap
Posted by Cire2222 on Mar 31, 2008
Hey guys, No video again tonight as im pressed for time and not much has changed in this market. For the stock market we are in whaty i call a dead zone, no clear direction in the short term. I remain with a bullish stance on this market for now. As for gold, our Gold short has turned out to be a great trade, I think we may get a small bounce here but I still think gold will continue lower, If you are still short then take half off here, if your only playing one contract then trail your stop, this should be a free ride trade from this point on. USD/CAD still looks bullish to me and remains in the same range as the past few days. Good luck!
The week ahead
Posted by Cire2222 on Mar 30, 2008
At the end of the week we expected the s&p’s to pullback some before another leg up but after fridays move down the pullback was too large for me to feel comfortable. So for now on the stock indicies I am on the sidelines, If I had to take a stance it would be a bullish one. The gold short is working out excellent and I think there is more room to the down side. USD/CAD is also performing well and could see a breakout soon. Good luck!
